Aluminium right-angle prisms are fundamental components in various photonics applications due to their ability to precisely control light direction and image orientation. The hypotenus surfaces are aluminum coated with protective SiO coating, and/or a protective black paint coating per request. The aluminium coating provides high reflectivity (often >88% for visible light) over a broad range of wavelengths.
