When the Non-Polarizing beamsplitter is mounted at 45 degrees with respect to a beam of light 600-1100nm band, it separates the beam into two orthogonal beams. The ratio of the power in the beams is determined by the coating. Typical R/T ratios are 10:90,20:80,30:70,40:60 and 50:50.This design with ratio R/T 4:96 is based on 1st surface uncoated but back surface with AR coated over 600-1100nm at 0-45deg AOI.
