BROADBAND DIELECTRIC MIRRORS

PHOTONIK BRAND Broadband Dielectric Mirrors offer excellent reflectivity of R>99% for 400-900nm spectrum.

A dielectric mirror is a type of a mirror composed of multiple thin layers of dielectric material, typically deposited on a substrate of optical material (e.g. glass). By careful choice of the type and thickness of the dielectric layers, we can design an optical coating with specified reflectivity at different wavelengths of light.

Alternatively, they can be made to reflect a broad spectrum of light, such as the entire visible range or the spectrum of the Ti-sapphire laser. Broadband Dielectric Mirrors of this type are very common in optics experiments, due to improved and advanced techniques that allow inexpensive manufacture of high-quality mirrors.

Au Ag Al Cu COATING MIRRORS

MCM SERIES

Gold is the most efficient metallic reflective coating over the entire IR range. And a protective layer of SiO can be used to protect the gold coatings and to make the mirror easy to clean.

Silver coated mirrors (Silver coated on quartz glass, BK7 glass substrates) offer the highest reflectance in the visible to IR spectral range over all the metal coated mirrors.

First Surface Mirror/Front Surface Mirror with protected aluminum coating is the best choice for general broadband use.

PHOTONIK’s UV-enhanced(UVE) coating is made by using an overcoat of MgF2 on Aluminum coating, which allows >85% reflection from 250 to 600 nm.

HRM-B Series laser mirrors are made by BK7 Optical Glass or UV Fused Silica with HR coating on the front surface R>99.5%, high damage threshhold, the back surface of the laser mirror can be clear or ground, depending on the application.

COM-400-450 Series cavity output coupler reflect some light at 400-450nm 0-deg AOI.

COM-VISA Series cavity output couplers make partial reflection at 400-700nm 0-deg AOI.

COM-532A Series SHG cavity output mirrors reflect 1030-1080nm laser light in the laser cavity and allow 532nm laser light to go out.

COM-780A Series Laser Cavity Output Mirrors have special coating on the substrates to allow partial of the 780nm light to pass and others to reflect back in the laser cavity.

CAVITY INPUT PUMP MIRRORS

CIM SERIES

CIM-500A-R1030/1200 Series input pump laser cavity mirrors allow 500-980nm laser light with 0-deg angle of incidence to go into the laser cavity and reflect 1030-1200nm laser light in the laser cavity.

CIM-808A-0532/1064 Series input laser cavity mirrors allow 808nm laser light with 0-deg angle of incidence to go into the laser cavity and reflect 532nm and 1064nm laser light in the laser cavity.

CIM-808B-1064 Series input laser cavity mirrors (input pump mirrors) allow 808nm laser light with 45-deg angle of incidence to go into the laser cavity and reflect 1064nm laser light in the laser cavity.

CIM-940A-1030/1080 Series input laser cavity mirrors allow 940nm laser light with 0-deg angle of incidence to go into the laser cavity and reflect 1030nm – 1200nm laser light in the laser cavity.

DICHROIC MIRRORS / FILTERS

DCM SERIES

PHOTONIK BRAND 45-deg Dichroic Mirrors are ideal for fluorescence applications and for splitting and combining optical beams. They are designed for use with light that is incident at a 45-deg angle.

Photonik 0-deg Dichroic Mirrors offer exceptionally high transmission(T>95% average @400-720nm visible band) and reflection(@850-1150nm) bands, steep cutoff edges, and minimal stray light, which in turn leads to improved signal-to-noise ratios and faster measurements. They are designed for use with light that is incident at a 0-deg angle.
